Western Monastic Conferences
The Buddhist Sangha of the West are quite varied in their background and traditions and lineages, including, but not limited to, the Theravada tradition, the Mahayana tradition, the Sangha of Korea, Japan, China, etc. All with their unique characteristics and shortcomings. The Western Monastic Conferences allow the various groups to come together to investigate and discuss Buddhadharma as well as share each one’s cultivation experiences. The City of Dharma Realm had not only participated but has also hosted the conferences multiple times, all of which were well received.
Religious Associations
Venerable Master Hsuan Hua advocated all religions should respect one another, collaborate to to promote world peace as the main goal. Therefore, The City of Dharma Realm has welcomed many religious organizations and hosted numerous religious associations meetings onsite to facilitate such collaboration and communication among various religions with quite positive feedback.
